LISA LATROVATO
FFWGC Founder
After graduating with her B.S. from the University at Buffalo, Lisa returned home to Rochester and began an internship that turned into positions as a Congressional Aide to Congresswoman Louise Slaughter and with the Monroe County Democratic Committee, where she learned the importance of constituent service and field operations.
In 2004, it was time to make another move and this move led her to Women and Children's Hospital as a fundraiser. She soon found it was much more fulfilling raising money for children than television commercials. During her 15-year career at the hospital, Lisa was an integral part of raising funds for various projects—but the one that will endure for generations to come is the construction of the new John R. Oishei Children's Hospital.
Lisa is currently the Donor Relations Manager at the Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute. She credits the strong female role models in all her professional roles that inspired her to create the Fifty Fabulous Women Giving Circle to inspire the next generation of women leaders. She often says that she hopes that this circle becomes her legacy work.
