Buffalo Chapter presents grant to Be Your Own Hero

Members of the Buffalo Chapter of Fifty Fabulous Women Giving Circle, a community of philanthropic women who combine their financial strength to improve the lives of women and children in Erie and Niagara counties in New York, donated $3,000 to Be Your Own Hero.

Be Your Own Hero is a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate and empower young adults through experiential learning and by providing the knowledge and tools necessary to discover one’s intuitive abilities and pursue fulfilling career opportunities. Through our founders’ years of experience matching people with careers, we uncovered a prevalent need among our youth to understand the opportunities before them, based not only on what they study, but also by uncovering the demands of tomorrow’s career.

The Fifty Fabulous Women Giving Circle is an all-volunteer community of philanthropic women who work to strengthen the community by combining their financial strength to support projects and initiatives that improve the lives of women and children. To maximize the potential of philanthropy as a vehicle for social change, the Giving Circle makes grants on a quarterly basis and donates a full 100% of member contributes to grant recipients.
