Buffalo Chapter presents grant to Hope Totes
The Buffalo Chapter of Fifty Fabulous Women Giving Circle, a community of philanthropic women who combine their financial strength to improve the lives of women and children in Erie and Niagara counties in New York, presented a grant in the amount of $4,225 to Hope Totes.
Hope Totes offers help, hope, organization, and support during the most trying of times to patients and their caregivers.
Each Hope Tote includes a binder to keep and organize medical information, a notebook for writing down thoughts and questions for the doctors and care team, a comfortable blanket, slippers, additional items to help with the patient or caregiver’s specific needs, and a personalized letter from Hope Totes founders Amy Velez and Colleen Marchetta. The items are thoughtfully gathered in a beautiful tote or backpack so they’re easily accessible on treatment days and easy-to-grab for travel.
