Buffalo Chapter presents grant to Lothlorien Therapeutic Riding Center
Members of the Buffalo Chapter of Fifty Fabulous Women Giving Circle, a community of philanthropic women who combine their financial strength to improve the lives of women and children in Erie and Niagara counties in New York, donated $4,165 to Lothlorien Therapeutic Riding Center.
Lothlorien Therapeutic Riding Center provides horsemanship and horseback riding opportunities for individuals of all ages with cognitive, physical, emotional and learning disabilities. They welcome over 500 participants year round, ages 3 and up, ranging from participants with special needs, Veterans, at-risk youth, hospice patients and many more. Their programs range from therapeutic riding lessons, natural horsemanship workshops, groundwork clinics to reading programs, school and day program field trips, and Make a Wish visits.
